Accessibility Statement

Effective Date: May 29, 2026
Last Updated: June 3, 2026

1. Our Commitment

United Fabrics International, Inc. ("UFI") is committed to making unitedfabric.com and the UFI trade portal accessible to people with disabilities. We believe that all of our trade customers — designers, manufacturers, and brands — should be able to access our patterns, tools, and services regardless of ability. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we work to improve the experience of users with disabilities as the site and its features evolve.

2. Conformance Target

UFI works to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 AA defines requirements for designers and developers to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

Based on recent automated audits using industry-standard testing tools, UFI's public-facing pages substantially conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. Recent results include a Lighthouse Accessibility score of 100, zero issues reported by axe DevTools (Deque), and zero errors and zero contrast errors reported by WebAIM's WAVE tool. Some parts of the site or individual features may not yet fully meet every WCAG 2.1 AA success criterion, and automated testing cannot detect every type of accessibility issue. We are actively working to address known gaps and to maintain conformance as the site evolves.

3. Measures We Take

To support accessibility, UFI:

  • designs and develops the site with accessibility in mind, including semantic HTML, descriptive alternative text on images, keyboard-navigable interfaces, sufficient color contrast, and properly labeled forms;
  • uses automated accessibility testing tools — including axe DevTools, Google Lighthouse, and WebAIM's WAVE — to identify and address issues during development;
  • considers accessibility when adding new features, including the trade portal, the Design Portal, mood-board tools, and AI-driven pattern-matching;
  • reviews accessibility periodically and after significant site changes; and
  • welcomes feedback from users who encounter accessibility barriers, and treats accessibility reports as a priority.

4. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some users may encounter accessibility barriers on the site. Areas where we are aware of, or anticipate, limitations include:

  • third-party content embedded on the site (for example, the consent banner provided by our cookie-consent vendor, payment fields provided by our payment processor, and certain analytics elements), which we do not directly control;
  • certain AI-generated outputs, such as pattern-matching results, which we are working to make more accessible to assistive technologies; and
  • images of patterns and goods, where alternative text may describe the pattern in summary rather than in exhaustive visual detail.

If you encounter any accessibility barrier not listed above, please let us know using the contact information in Section 7. Your feedback helps us prioritize improvements.

5. Assistive Technology Compatibility

UFI works to make the site compatible with current versions of major assistive technologies, including screen readers (such as JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver) and keyboard-only navigation, when used with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox). If you use a specific assistive technology and encounter problems on our site, please let us know so we can investigate.

6. Accessibility of Legal Documents

Our legal documents, including the Master Purchase Agreement, the Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement, the Trade Portal Terms of Use, the Return and Claims Policy, the Privacy Policy, and the Cookie Policy, are made available on the site in formats that are intended to be readable by assistive technologies. If you need any of these documents in an alternative format (for example, a plain-text version, large print, or a screen-reader-optimized version), please contact us using the information in Section 7 and we will provide it without charge.

7. Feedback and Contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of unitedfabric.com. If you experience an accessibility barrier, have a question about accessibility, or need information from the site in an alternative format, please contact us:

  • Email: mail@unitedfabric.com (subject line: "Accessibility")
  • Mail: United Fabrics International, Inc., 1723 South Central Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90021, USA
  • Telephone: (213) 749-8200

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within five (5) business days, and to resolve verified issues as promptly as practicable. When reporting a barrier, it helps us to include the page or feature where you encountered the issue, the assistive technology and browser you were using, and a brief description of what happened.

8. Updates to this Statement

UFI may update this Accessibility Statement from time to time to reflect changes in the site, in our accessibility practices, or in applicable standards. Material updates will be reflected by changing the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Statement.
